Went to my dad’s place yesterday, Farah cooked another wonderful meal, some kind of roast pork, slow cooked and with apricot and apple sauce … mmmmmmm.
My dad enjoyed Aldona’s reading suggestions from the last visit, in particular Amos Os,  and sent me home with Selected Poems of Yehuda Amichai for her.

This keeps happening, discovering great poems thanks to Poems on the Underground, a now familiar feature on the tube. The latest one I’ve really enjoyed is Snow, by Louis Macniece:
